Overview: three days, one heartbeat

Pulse Festival needed an aftermovie that sells next year's tickets in ninety seconds — the scale of the stages, the intimacy of the campsite sessions, and the feeling of being there when the lights drop. We embedded a six-person team across three days with full stage access.

The hero cut launched forty-eight hours after gates closed, backed by artist spotlights and a vertical recap series that ran all winter.

The challenge

Festivals are chaos by design: no retakes, mixed stage lighting that changes by the minute, and crowds that swallow small crews. The edit had to feel euphoric without hiding the event's real texture — and it had to be ready while the weekend was still news.

The approach

We stationed cameras on stage plots in advance, flew the drone only during golden hour windows, and cut overnight — selects each midnight, assembly each morning. By Monday the story was already half-built, so the final forty-eight hours were polish, not panic.
